• How many months in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date? • Can your DJ MC our event? Can you provide a microphone? All events have the standard cordless microphone for client usage and the cord microphone for the DJ/MC (for speeches & toasts)..

• What type of equipment do you use? What special feature (lighting, etc) can you provide? DJ EQUIPMENT: Nothing but the best in technology for DJ equipment! No home stereos ... ever! This includes for any and all sit-down pre-planning meetings as required, like weddings. • How early do you typically arrive before an event? Arriving 2 hours in advance to ensure timeliness and to check our equipment for any failures is standard for all events..

• How many weddings do you perform each year? Being a sole entertainer and providing a specialized wedding and DJ service, generally around 50..

• Do you bring backup equipment to the event? Do you have backup djs in case of sickness? Always! It’s a requirements of all packages. Backup DJ equipment is always on-site at the date of the event. It‘s never on call where you would have to wait for it to be delivered. But rest assure, Lori’s DJ Service carries and updates the best in technology, so the chances of anything failing is very unlikely. • Can guests make song requests? How many (and what types) of CDs will the DJ bring to the event? As part of the service, Lori‘s DJ Service always accept song requests from your guests. Of course, unless you specify for us not to as we honor our clients. However, it is stressed that we focus on the clients who hire us and their requests always come first. Lori’s DJ Service simply works in the guests' requests throughout the evening, so long that the songs are reasonable. .

• Do we need to provide a meal for the DJ during the event? Although not enforced, it’s always recommended and here’s why… Your hired vendors (photographer, videographer, DJ, etc.) are with you all day and so they will be hungry later, just like you will be at your event. Feeding your vendors, simply put, is a nice thing to do because it shows them you respect their job position and that you want them to be comfortable of which they in return, will want to do a especially good job for you. Keep in mind, it’s not recommended to put vendors in a position that they need to leave the premises to purchase their own food elsewhere while the event is active. After all, they are there to perform their job and need to be present to make sure everything is running smoothly. Especially to catch any unexpected joyous moment that can be lost forever, just because they were not present? Would be surely a disappointment, something we all know that no one wants. This is why it is always recommended to take care of your vendors by inviting them to join in. (Of course, anyone would understand should your budget not allow it but kindly informing your vendors ahead of time prepares them to make other arrangements.).

• What happens prior to the wedding? When do you need our song list? PRE-PLANNING: Upon booking, DJ Lori sits down with her clients in her home office, one month before the wedding to finalize the wedding reception's complete itinerary with full details on timing and clients' chosen selection of music for chosen themes of the event, as well as for dancing. SONGLIST: It is always recommended to present the DJ your selection as least a few weeks prior to your event, so that DJ LORi can prepare efficiently. • Do you disc jockeys take any breaks or pauses from playing music? Never! Unless specified by the client, breaks are never needed. In exceptions for events that require the use of microphones for necessary multi-speeches, award and prize giveaways (such as in corporal events) or other necessary itinerary break needed by the client as understood ahead of time, then music will be delayed for that specific use only..

• What standard attire will the DJ wear to my function? May I request that the DJ wear a tuxedo? Formal Events (weddings, company affairs, etc.) (as shown in picture): Tuxedo Attire White Tuxedo shirt for Weddings Black Tuxedo shirt for all others Non-formal Events (birthdays, anniversaries, outdoor events, etc): Black Company Logo short-sleeve shirt No jeans or gym shoes are allowed!
